Hello All,

There have been questions about early access announcements that are live in some of our communities, as well as questions about our new platform - Fora. We would like to take this opportunity to answer these questions here.

Regarding the early access announcement...
  • As we help our users to get the most out of our communities, our team has started a new initiative to develop a Customer Advisory Board (CAB). Through this, our plan is to engage with our communities to help us uncover insights in building industry-leading online communities.
  • Our team has selected a few sites to begin this initiative and we posted the early access announcement in those communities. The intent is to invite members to participate in the Customer Advisory Board initiative and these announcements were designed to expire within a short period of time (~1 week). These announcements are now closed as we had reached enough interests and responses from members
  • We will then use the collected responses to select users to invite into our CAB.

About Fora
  • Fora is our new platform aiming to connect our users to other communities easily. We have been exploring innovative ways for our users to engage in our communities. Fora is currently in an early-stage phase within our overall development process. We will post more information as Fora progresses.

Hopefully, this has answered your questions about the topic and notice. Rest assured that there will be no impact or changes to the existing platform!

Please let us know if you have any more questions.

I don’t understand, what exactly does this mean?
Hey Pete,

To your question - Fora is simply a new initiative that we are currently exploring to help improve our users' experiences to access all of our communities. More details will be shared as they become available. The key thing to note is that there will be NO impact to the current platform - i.e., no change of platform or migration, etc.

Regards,
Patrick
