We are excited to announce some changes to the release cycle we will be trialing.
What: We will be shifting from our current release cycle of once a week (global release Tuesday) to twice a week (global releases Monday and Wednesday). If at any point in time we notice something is wrong (ex: new bugs found as part of regression testing), we will skip a release.
Why: Currently, there is 1-2 weeks of delay between when a release branch is cut and when the global deployment of that release is. By increasing the frequency of releases, we will be able to ship more features, updates and bug fixes faster and more often.
When: We are targeting Monday April 11th to start the multiple release cycle. Depending on how well the trial does, we may keep this new release cycle for the foreseeable future or scale back to once a week.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
